Project 10 Pan

I have finally decided to do this post. It includes makeup, hair, and skincare items. These are all things that I have had for a while now and would like to get rid of either because they are about to expire or so I can try newer products.

1. Black eyeliners- I have a ton of liners, both liquid and pencil, that I need to use up.

2. Maybelline Expert Eyes Makeup Remover for Waterproof Makeup- I do not like this product at all. It is very oily and leaves residue on my skin.

3. Patricia Wexler Overnight Acne Repair Lotion- This is a good product. However, it is about to expire so I need to finish it up. The only bad thing about it is the scent, it smells like a combo of rotten coconut and carrots. Thankfully, it fades after about 5 minutes.

4. Sweet Pea Body Lotion and Body Mist from Bath & Body Works- This has been my favorite scent for the past couple years. But I have gotten tired of it and would like to branch out and try newer ones.

5. Blushing Cherry Blossom Body Cream- I just want to get rid of this, I never liked the scent.

6. Garnier Fructis Leave In Conditioning Cream- Love this, but I've had it forever and am tired of it.

7. John Frieda Weather Proofing Style Sealant Creme- Same reasons as above

8. FX Instant Straighten Out Hair Straighter and Smoothing Treatment- Never liked this product, it makes the hair feel sticky and greasy. This one I might actually just throw away b/c I don't even want to use it. Kinda defeats the purpose of Project 10 Pan but oh well...

9. Random Eyeshadow Palettes- So I can purchase new ones

10. Random Lip Glosses- same as above

The Big Day!

My Orbit gum BzzCampaign came in the mail today!! Yay!
 It included:

A letter with info about the campaign, 6 BOGO coupons for the gum, and the "Official BzzGuide", a booklet lots of info about the gum itself.

And 5 packs of gum for me to try. I was sent the wintermint, sweet mint, bubblemint, peppermint, and spearmint flavors.

I love the packaging-each box is decorated with a cool, retro print. And the taste is great, very minty and refreshing.

I will definitely be using the coupons that they gave me to buy more gum after these packs run out.

I would like to thank BzzAgent for sending me these products for free in order to review.

NOTE: I was not sent the product in order to do a review on this blog, I am just posting my review here in order to help spread the word.

Win and Earn Sites

Lately, I have really been getting into win and earn sites-sites where you earn points by searching the web or completing surveys, etc. These points can then be redeemed for prizes.

The sites that I have been recently using:

mypoints.com
This site allows you to earn points by completing surveys, playing games, reading the emails they send to you, responding to offers, etc.

swagbucks.com
I have really been loving this site! The bucks accumulate fairly quickly and there are a variety of easy ways to earn them. I receive the majority of my swagbucks by searching the web, taking the daily poll, visiting the surveys page, completing surveys, and by redeeming the occasional swag code.

zoompanel.com
I'm still fairly new to the site, but i have accumulated about 200 points so far just by completing surveys. I think surveys are the only way that points can be earned on this site.

rewardsgold.com
When I first came across this site, I thought it was some kind of scam. But you really do get sent 1-2 year magazine subscriptions for free! All you have to do is register, refer a friend (I just use one of my alternate emails for junk/spam), complete a product survey and you get the subscription. Thus far, I have received 3 free subscriptions (Seventeen, Bloomburg, and Business Week)  from them and have never gotten a bill for it.

clubbing.com
I am also relatively new to this site, but it seems promising. Basically, you earn tickets by playing games. You then redeem them for prizes.

bzzagent.com
I registered with bzzagent about a year ago, decided I didnt like it, and have just begun using it again. I am so glad I did! All you have to do is product reviews, visit sites and give your opinions on them, and you can earn honeycombs in order to participate in their campaigns. A campaign is where they give you a product for free to test out and you submit a review on it. I just qualified to enter a campaign for Orbit gum and I am so excited as this is the first one I have been in. In addition, you can earn mypoints by taking surveys, so its a 2 for 1 deal

kraftfirsttaste.com
Very easy. You register and whenever they have an offer they will send you an email informing you of it. During the last offer I participated in, I got sent 6 coupons for FREE products! My cousin also participates in this and she received 6 coupons for $1.50 off each of the same products. I'm not sure why or how the offers differ, but they are great nonetheless.

Cool Linen

Cool LinenFashion Trends & Styles - Polyvore

Since this is a relatively plain outfit, I would use a patterned hijab, like the ones above,  to add a bit of color.

Story of my Life....

I'm extremely bored and have absolutely nothing to do, soooooooo....I thought I'd post something. I am on spring break  right now (I'm in college btw, so our breaks are in march instead of april). It's funny how when I'm in school I want break to be here so badly, but now that it's here I kinda wish I was in school. At least I'd have something to do, right? Unfortunately, I'm not going anywhere for break, just staying at home :(
My most favorite cousin came to visit on Sunday, which was awesome!
But other than that, all I've done is eat all kinds of unhealthy junk that I know I shouldn't be eating. I  have boxes of girl scout cookies and oreos sitting in my room. NOT a good idea!! I'm munching on some thin mints as I type. lol
I've also spent an incredibly long time in front of the computer, just doing random stuff and wasting time. Not to mention, that I've been staying up to all hours of the night, and not waking up until like 1:00 pm. It's ridiculous!!
But, as I said, I have nothing else to do.....
I told myself that I was going to spend my time studying so I could get ahead in all of my classes, but that has been an epic fail. The only good thing, I guess, is that I never really expected to get anything done. I seriously need something to do with my time.
On a happy note, I am so excited that I will be living on campus next semester or at the very least, have a car so that I can go places!
I can't wait to move out of the house, I just feel so stagnant here. I need to get out and do my own thing, you know?
At least if I had a credit card, I could do some online shopping, but it's probably best that I don't-I'd be up to my ears in debt.
I really want a cat, they're so cute :)
I should get a camcorder too, so I can upload videos
*BLAH, RANDOM STUFF*

Product Review: Goody Colour Collection Stay Put and Hold Hair Elastics

I have medium length, super thick hair. Because of that I can never find good quality hair ties that will actually wrap around the entire width of my hair and stay firmly in place. After about 3 weeks of use most of my hair ties end up breaking or getting so stretched out that they are useless. BUT, I think I may have finally found the answer to this dilemma!
While at Walmart last weekend, I was browsing the hair accessories and happened to find these ties by Goody. They have ridges of elastic woven into the tie to keep it from slipping. I have been using them for about a week now and they stretch enough to hold my hair but they have not gotten too stretched out so far. They really do hold my hair in place for long periods of time, instead of gradually loosening like most others I've tried.
They come in a pack of 8, and for only a couple of bucks. I got the ones in black and brown.
I have yet to see if they will stretch out after more usage, but as of right now they work really well. I highly recommend them!

I tried to zoom in so that you guys can see the ridges on it.

I Got My Veria 30 Minute Relaxation Pack In The Mail Today

It included an almond and geranium facial moisturizer for normal skin and a macadamia with lotus anti-aging blend moisturizer. I was expecting it to be something that might actually take 30 minutes to do, but oh well...its still a nice sample.

Eye Candy ;)

Here are some amazing pics of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder. I love Nina because she's so pretty in a natural way-no heavy makeup or anything like that. And Paul and Ian are extremely sexy-enough said. Most of these are from the Nylon photo shoot.
